Rays vs. Phillies – 2/28

I’d say something like today is a rematch of the World Series, but let’s be honest here. This is a Grapefruit League game. If you ask me tomorrow about what happened today, I might not be able to tell you.

That said, Pat Burrell will be at Bright House Field today.

Here is today’s lineup for the Phillies:

1. Jimmy Rollins, SS
2. Shane Victorino, CF
3. Raul Ibanez, LF
4. Ryan Howard, 1B
5. Jayson Werth, RF
6. Greg Dobbs, DH
7. Miguel Cairo, 2B
8. Jason Donald, 3B
9. Ronny Paulino, C

Scheduled to pitch: Kyle Kendrick, Drew Naylor, Clay Condrey, Scott Eyre and Brad Lidge.

Donald Fehr and the player’s union is in the Phillies clubhouse, talking about union-type things. I’m sure steroids will come up at some point, no?

This is probably more for the folks not “watching the game” at the Tiki Bar, but Phillies fans will have a chance to listen to the Phillies radio broadcasts at Bright House Field. Fans can turn their radios to 1630 AM to catch the action. … Monday’s Team USA workout is free and open to the public. Team USA begins its workout at 12:30 p.m. at Bright House. Gates open at 11:30 a.m., and food and beverage are available. … The Discovery Channel is showing the “riots” in Philadelphia after the Phillies won the World Series at 9 p.m. on Monday in a show called Ramage! Funny, but I thought fans were relatively well behaved except for a few punks.

So nice to be back… aaaaaah.

How’d the Phils end up doing last year, anyway?

I wonder if Donald Fehr will apologize to JC Romero for leaving him hanging out to dry?

Welcome back, johninla. Good to see some familiar faces (names) around here.

I’m looking forward to watching this game on TV today. Should be a fun one to watch until the starters get pulled.

johninla…..What took you so long to find us?! 😉
Hoping Pat gets a huge Standing O when he steps to the plate. Then a huge Boo if he hits one out! LOL!

Two days in row with no sign-in delays! Hope I didn’t just jinx myself.
