Eyre Gets A Rooftop View

eyre on the roof.jpg

It’s hard to tell because the camera on my Blackberry isn’t exactly top notch, but that is Scott Eyre catching a few innings on the roof of Bright House Field. Guess he got bored watching from the bullpen.

Brett Myers, who might be starting Opening Day if Cole Hamels isn’t ready, threw 5 2/3 shutout innings against the Reds. He allowed just four hits and struck out seven.

If this were taken a year ago, I’d have wished that was Eaton up there.

Nice to see them have a break out inning today. However, I’ve noticed that other teams seem to be able to steal at will against us this spring. Are they aware of this? Are they working on keeping runners closer and having the catchers work on throwing guys out?

Stairs isn’t making it easy I see, Batting over .300 and has 3 RBIs today. that 25th player is going to go down to the wire it seems

mrbryan, if that was eaton we’d all be yelling, “JUMP!!!!” lmfao

I think Scott is hiding from his creditors, since he got hosed in the recent econ scandal….

Wow, Myers had a nice outing finally. Good to see. And I see the bleepin’ defense has tightened up.

Seems like a very nice outing by everyone so far. Guess Charlie’s BLEEPING session was what was needed

“up on the roof…..”

Guess they wanted to give Charlie a good bleeping game in his absence. Glad Myers pitched well.

Maybe Scott’s trying to escape the bees over there, or maybe he’s playing with them….It’s great to see Brett pick up from where he left off last year? Couple that with Chan Ho’s recent lights out performance and the Phils are looking like a team of top of the rotation pitchers. Keep up the great work guys!!! GO PHILS!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see Brett have a good outing. I hope he can put two in a row together. That would mean he is getting use to his weight loss.

I thought Paul Owens was back!!!
