Ozuna Suspended 50 Games

ozuna.jpgTriple-A Lehigh Valley infielder Pablo Ozuna has been suspended 50 games after showing an “elevated testosterone/epitesterone ratio,” according to Major League Baseball.

The elevated ratio is considered a performance enhancing substance violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension begins immediately.

Ozuna had hit .294 with no home runs and 15 RBIs in 187 at-bats this season for the IronPigs.

Zero dingers and 15 RBIs in 187 AB’s? Sounds like the juice ain’t workin. Maybe he should talk to Raul’s guy….joke.

Thank God he wasn’t on the roster! That was a close call. Now that we know what kind of person he is, releasing him is a no-brainer. BTW, young.daniel if you want to live to be old.daniel, don’t make such jokes and leave your e-mail address. OK?

Well, there goes my solution to the failure that is Eric Bruntlett. What now?

Yes, Pablo Ozuna was in the third stall on the right injecting a Bobby Bondish stength potion into his ****.

Eric Bruntlett, a failure?

What I wanted to write was “Yes, Pablo Ozuna was in the third stall on the right injecting a Barry Bondish strength potion into his a-r-s-e.”. What a crock, what a mockery! Is there anyone on this planet stupid enough or gullible enough to believe that Pablo Ozuna was seeking to gain a competitive advantage by taking steroids or some other PED to gain a competitive edge?

I don’t understand why Phillies fans jump all over a member of the Phillies extended family when all the facts are not in, yet to a person they all defended J.C. Romero for the very same offense. Mayberry got called up to the Phillies when they faced the Yankees and Cervenak broke his wrist. All of a sudden Pablo Ozuna, a singles hitter was placed into the #3 spot in the batting order where his job went from table setter to a guy who was counted on to drive in runs. I wonder when the positive test happened and I’d like to know Pablo’s mindset at the time. I’m not defending what he did but I’m not about to crucify the guy either. Those who criticize him obviously don’t know the positive impact he had on his teammates and the fans of the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs. I hope he gets himself straightened out.
