Florida Is Flooding

The Phillies had a few busses ready to roll today to Lakeland and Port Charlotte for split squad games against Detroit and Tampa Bay, but they never left.

It’s pouring in Florida.

Both games were cancelled.

No baseball today.

Somebody decided to have a little fun and rewrite the Phillies’ lineup for the game in Lakeland. It looked like this: “Thompson 8, Wilkerson 7, Gillies All Outfield, Brown 3, Dobbs 5, Tuffy 2, Davey 4, Ransom 6, Flande DH.”

J.A. Happ, who had been scheduled to pitch today, will pitch tomorrow against the Twins. Kyle Kendrick will pitch Sunday against the Orioles in Sarasota, and Roy Halladay will pitch Monday against the Pirates in Bradenton.

The Zo Zone is on Facebook and Twitter. His Phillies book “The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly” is available online, and at Delaware Valley bookstores!

Zo, when is Jamie going to pitch an “A” game? I thought it was suppose to be this weekend, but with the rain outs, what happens?

Not sure what happens. Rich Dubee didn’t have an answer for us. Hopefully we’ll know more tomorrow.

That line up is probably someone’s fantasy league team.
