Pitching Schedule Updated

The Phillies had to shuffle their pitching schedule because of yesterday’s rain, so if you’re coming to Florida to catch any games this week, here it is:

  • Tomorrow vs. Tampa Bay: Joe Blanton, Chad Durbin and Jose Contreras. J.C. Romero is scheduled to pitch in a simulated game.
  • Wednesday at Atlanta: J.A. Happ, Ryan Madson, David Herndon and Danys Baez.
  • Thursday vs. Houston: Kyle Kendrick, Antonio Bastardo and Jose Contreras. Roy Halladay will pitch in a Minor League game.
  • Friday at New York: Jamie Moyer, Durbin and Madson.
  • Saturday at Minnesota: Cole Hamels, Baez, Contreras and Herndon.

The Zo Zone is on Facebook and Twitter. His Phillies book “The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly” is available online, and at Delaware Valley bookstores!

Hamels had a setback today, with a 6-run meltdown inning agaisnt the Yankees. Herndon still looks like a keeper.

I didn’t see the game, but from the highlights package on Comcast, it looked like Cole was getting a lot of stuff up in the strike zone. Those are hard to miss.
The good news was that the scored some off Burnett, and that the game doesn’t count.

I got my Phils/Nats opening day tix today from Stub Hub. Club Box, baby! Halladay!
