Halladay Has Mild to Moderate Groin Strain
Roy Halladay strained his right groin in the second innnig last night in Game 5 of the NLCS and still won.
If he had not injured himself, he very likely would be available to pitch out of the bullpen if the Phillies reach Game 7 Sunday.
“I think we’ll have to wait and see a little bit, see where he’s at and how he feels,” said Charlie Manuel, asked about Halladay’s availability Sunday. “That would be hard for me to answer right now.”
Contacted Ruben Amaro Jr. and asked him about Halladay’s injury. He said Halladay has a “mild to moderate strain” and is day to day.

Wahhhnkees lose tonite, now when you guys lose all the Jackwads will be gone and Normal teams and thier fans can enjoy the WS.
billybobreefer: Slow night for you, Boy? Got kicked to the curb because your sister went on a date with her daddy? Funny how we never heard any complaints about payroll when the Braves were outspending everyone. Normal teams? That would be the Braves? What a hoot! The team which annually restocks with rejects and retreads and broken down players? Give are regards to Larry the next time he picks up your mamma for a date to the local DQ.
pherris, leave billreef alone. He’s our good luck charm. The season turned around when he started trolling here, and every time he chimes in, good thing happen. Let him be.
…yeah billreef, Karma is a bitch…
Agent 52, I mean phan52 copy. As he has already chimed in today, we are good to go for this game. Here’s to hoping that he just hones in on Todd’s entry tomorrow or at least after the Phillies win tonight and “hexes” the Philies tomorrow as well.
