Need A Last Minute Christmas Gift?

Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for GBUPhillies_Final.jpgHeads up! We’ve got the 4th annual Philadelphia Sports Book Signing Extravaganza tomorrow night (Wednesday night) beginning at 7 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble at the Willow Grove Mall.

Who will be there?

Glad I asked.

The lineup includes Merrill Reese, Chris Wheeler, Ray Didinger, Anthony Gargano, Glen Macnow, Jayson Stark, Mike Missanelli, Reuben FrankSal Paolantonio, Randy Miller, Greg Cosell, Mark Eckel, myself and others.

If you’re looking for my book, I’ve been told by several people it’s near impossible to find in local bookstores. I like to tell myself it’s because we can’t keep the book in stock, and not because the ball has been dropped. Regardless, hope you can stop by. We had a tremendous turnout earlier this month at the Barnes & Noble at the Oxford Valley Mall, so we’re hoping for the same.

Check the blog a little later today. I’m sure you’ve seen the video of the country music song about the boy wishing for Roy Halladay‘s baseball glove for Christmas. If you haven’t, here it is. I talked to the singer and songwriter Gord Bamford last Friday. I’ll post some of what he said here. The story (with thoughts from Halladay) will appear on MLB.com on Christmas Eve Day.

If you haven’t seen it, I’ve got a new Facebook page. Check it out here. I’m trying to get a million friends by Christmas Day. Follow me on Twitter.

Thanks for the link for that song Todd. I never heard of it. It’s cute. I’ll look forward to reading you future entry about it. Good luck on your book signing tomorrow night. You’ll be in good company. Happy Holidays!

he needs to redwe the video, however. All that Jay’s **** has to go!!

that should read “re-do” oops

I highly recommend Todd’s bokk, an excellent read with some neat insights.

If anyone goes to the Willow Grove signing, remind the guys that the western suburbs have been settled for a few years now and us pilgrams have schools, book stores and stuff and actually also read. I’ll send them directions to facilitate them finding their way to such exotic palces as Exton, Wilmington, Malvern and West Chester….LOL!
Or you could just ask Jim Salisbury ot Frank Fitzpatrick, they know how to get to the wilderness.
