Baseball Heaven? Scott Rolen would beg to differ. But again, he has to beg for tickets to the postseason.
So, Todd, is this a national cover or a 10 blocks around CBP cover?
Dutch had the perfect words during his Wall of Fame induction speech. Something along the lines of “not having the guts to win here.”
That was Kruk, and it is oh so true.
pherrisphain, did you not read the part under the picture? “It’s a regional cover in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.”
And also, Cliff Lee is just so bad ass. Love the pose.
Actually, I didn’t read it until after I posted. Mea culpa.
Well, it’s the Cardinals. The Braves just went meekly. What a pathetic team. The Phillies call-ups shut ‘em down and the Braves ROY, history-making closer is crying in the dugout.
Between the Braves and the Red Sox, those were two mercy killings. Genius Terry Francona is finally exposed. Getting beat by the Orioles is a fitting end.
The Braves were pathetic in this series. Having a fan like Hill Billy Bob Reefer is quite fitting for them. I can’t believe Fredi pitched to Pence in the 13th! I hope Fredi stays manager of the Braves for many more years.
Just an awesome end to the 2011 baseball season. Bosox & Bravos…..see ya next year!
