Airwolf Lives

A couple hours before tonight’s game at Turner Field I asked the Braves’ organist, who sits behind the visiting beat writers in the press box, if he would play the theme song to Airwolf.

Why Airwolf?

Why not? It had an awesome helicopter, Jan-Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine. That’s like the holy grail of ’80s TV shows right there.

Enjoy.

(Yes, that is me laughing throughout the video. Apologies.)

That is awesome. Totally underrated 80′s show. How can you not like a show that has a main character named Stringfellow Hawke?

Boy That smarts, huh?

Oh gee, yeah. Season’s over.

That’s my impersonation of a Braves fan.

Todd. Dude. Amazing. I can see the mountain opening up and Ernest telling Jan to hit the afterburners.

All said, it’s almost as cool as that funnel cake you owe ZWR.

you could have told me that was the crowd at first pitch, and i would have believed you
