Pettibone to DL, Ramirez DFA’d

The Phillies made a few roster moves before tonight’s series opener against the Braves at Citizens Bank Park.

They placed right-hander Jonathan Pettibone on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder. They officially recalled Triple-A Lehigh Valley right-hander Ethan Martin, who makes his big-league debut tonight.

Right-hander J.C. Ramirez has been designated for assignment. Right-hander Zach Miner had his contract selected from Triple-A.

Pettibone said last night he had some tightness in his arm, but hoped to pitch next week.

Stick a fork in them they are done. Let the young players play. The vets are just going thru the motions. No sign of leadership on the field. Get rid of Charlie he can’t even make excuses for them anymore. Let Ryan see what he can do the rest of the way and then make a decision at the end of the season. With the recent interviews the club house must not be a fun place.

Bounced ball in dirt was bad call. But lets be honest, the right call would have just delayed the inevitable. I’m not really a trash talker, but the idiots that come to our board from here deserve it. You guys look like GARBAGE.

one thing i learned this season is by chance you were busy and did not catch the game and want to know if they won. all you need to do is ask did either nix or martinez see any action, if either one them were inserted into the game it is about a 75 percent chance they lost. if both of them played in the same game it is a done deal. 100 percent they lost.

look at their record, about a 75% chance they lost no matter who played lol

not quite 75%, but i will give you 65% lol

Well, I hope you guys had good attendance all weekend. Kid of drove a stake through your heart now didn’t we Frillies? Where is WeinusWain and his snappy comebacks? We haven’t heard from him in a while. Kind of a Phair weather Phan, i suspect.
