Cloyd, Valdes Gone

A couple pitchers left the Phillies organization today.

The Indians claimed right-hander Tyler Cloyd and the Astros claimed left-hander Raul Valdes.

Cloyd, 26, went 2-7 with a 6.56 ERA in 13 appearances (11 starts) this season. He has 5.98 in 19 big-league appearances. Valdes, 35, went 1-1 with a 7.46 ERA in 17 appearances (one start) this season with the Phillies. He has a 4.94 ERA in 95 career big-league appearances.

Neither were expected to be part of the Phillies’ future plans.

valdes and cloyd, when you think about it, not even worth commenting on.

I shouldn’t post this, but………good riddance to both…..

currious who was on the 40 man roster instead of this depth at pitching. I hope not Mini-mart

Mini-Mart gone! 🙂

They both got their chance and fell flat. No one to blame but themselves. Well, maybe Dubee but he’s gone too.

Do the Phillies even HAVE future plans? It’s not looking pretty…

Please add Michael Martinez to the list. He has been on the Phillies longer then he deserves. Zach Miner another candidate for the GONE list.

it was quite obvious that AMARO was tanking the season when he went out an acquired john mcdonald, casper wells, and brought up michael martinez. also, nobody has mentioned casper wells when it comes to players that need to go. am i missing something with this guy.

That’s what I’ve been saying! RAJ tanked the season because he wanted to guarantee Ryne would be the future Phils manager.

I have read so many articles or reciews about the blogger lovers but this paragraph is genuinely a nice piece of
writing, keep it up.
